ford100e.com would like to thank john porter from the sidevalve owners club for allowing me to have a copy of these pictures before being passed on to the new owner of my old escort 100e AA van some 3 years ago now updated 30/04/2009 in 1959 the AA ordered 5 escorts as patrol vehicles the reg numbers were XYL 805 motorway patrol YLY 230 motorway patrol XVL 802 motorway patrol VYY 607 road service ( first on preston motorway 1959} CZC ??? road service ( dublin) the photocopy's i have been given are of the original vehicles used for publicity purpose's/shots but the escort was soon dropped from the fleet in favour for the mini van when it was introduced |
