| unlike other sites that don't know what they are on about this is an Escort 100e and not a thames i know this because this used to be my car
the old reg number used to be WBJ 334 The escort was recreated by a mr Pryer up in Norfolk The estate was restored approx 12 years ago, and the decision was make by the previous owner to turn it into the livery of the original AA van or the day, which there was only 5. I brought the van after seeing it for sale up in Southport bit of a change from Norfolk However a dealer had it and had taken most of the stuff out of the back Including the uniform and original registration number Over a 12 month period I managed to get a lot of new parts for the rear of the van from the likes of eBay ie: tools/petrol cans/signs I then sold it in 206 to a good friend of mine Mr Steve Whale who still owns the car And has done lots of work on her to keep it up and running The car is used all year round and in all weathers Hope you enjoy the pictures |
